A nd he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the Lord God of Israel.

S'a răsculat chiar împotriva împăratului Nebucadneţar, care -l pusese să jure pe Numele lui Dumnezeu. Şi -a înţepenit grumazul şi şi -a învîrtoşat inima, pînă acolo încît nu s'a întors la Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel.
