H e rebelled, likewise, against King Nebuchadnezzar, unto whom he had sworn by God; but he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.

S'a răsculat chiar împotriva împăratului Nebucadneţar, care -l pusese să jure pe Numele lui Dumnezeu. Şi -a înţepenit grumazul şi şi -a învîrtoşat inima, pînă acolo încît nu s'a întors la Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel.
