A nd they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.

وَكانُوا يُمْضُونَ اللَّيلَ فِي جَنَباتِ بَيتِ اللهِ. فَقَدْ كانَ وَاجِبُهُمْ أنْ يَحرُسُوهُ، وَأنْ يَفْتَحُوهُ فِي كُلِّ صَباحٍ.
