f or they stayed round about the house of God during the night, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning to them.

وَكانُوا يُمْضُونَ اللَّيلَ فِي جَنَباتِ بَيتِ اللهِ. فَقَدْ كانَ وَاجِبُهُمْ أنْ يَحرُسُوهُ، وَأنْ يَفْتَحُوهُ فِي كُلِّ صَباحٍ.
