A nd he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the Lord, where the women wove hangings for the grove.

وَهَدَمَ المَلِكُ يُوشِيّا بُيُوتَ الرِّجالِ الَّذِينَ كانُوا يُبِيحُونَ أجْسادَهُمْ فِي بَيتِ اللهِ. وَكانَتِ النِّساءُ يَسْتَخدِمْنَ هَذِهِ البُيُوتَ فِي نَسجِ الأقمِشَةِ إكْراماً لِلإلَهَةِ عَشْتَرُوتَ.
