وَهَدَمَ المَلِكُ يُوشِيّا بُيُوتَ الرِّجالِ الَّذِينَ كانُوا يُبِيحُونَ أجْسادَهُمْ فِي بَيتِ اللهِ. وَكانَتِ النِّساءُ يَسْتَخدِمْنَ هَذِهِ البُيُوتَ فِي نَسجِ الأقمِشَةِ إكْراماً لِلإلَهَةِ عَشْتَرُوتَ.
