A nd when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Femeia a văzut că pomul era bun de mîncat şi plăcut de privit, şi că pomul era de dorit ca să deschidă cuiva mintea. A luat deci din rodul lui, şi a mîncat; a dat şi bărbatului ei, care era lîngă ea, şi bărbatul a mîncat şi el.
