A nd the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a pleasure for the eyes, and the tree was to be desired to give intelligence; and she took of its fruit, and ate, and gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

Femeia a văzut că pomul era bun de mîncat şi plăcut de privit, şi că pomul era de dorit ca să deschidă cuiva mintea. A luat deci din rodul lui, şi a mîncat; a dat şi bărbatului ei, care era lîngă ea, şi bărbatul a mîncat şi el.
