T herefore, the LORD God of Israel said, I had said indeed that thy house and the house of thy father should walk before me for ever, but now the LORD said, It shall never be; for those that honor me I will honor, and those that lightly esteem me shall be vile.


Prandaj kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i Izraelit: Unë kisha shpallur që shtëpia jote dhe shtëpia e atit tënd do të kishin ecur gjithnjë para meje, por tani Zoti thotë: Qoftë larg meje kjo gjë; sepse unë nderoj ata që më nderojnë, por ata që më përçmojnë do të përçmohen gjithashtu nga ana ime.
