S aul chose three thousand men of Israel, of which two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in Mount Bethel and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin; and of the rest of the people he sent each one to his tent.

І вибрав собі Саул три тисячі з Ізраїля, дві тисячі були з Саулом у Міхмаші та на горі Бет-Елу, а тисяча були з Йонатаном у Веніяминовій Ґів'ї. А решту народу відпустив він кожного до наметів своїх.
