1 Samuel 1:11 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 1:11

a nd she vowed a vow and said, O LORD of the hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thy handmaid and remember me and not forget thy handmaid but wilt give unto thy handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.

وَنَذَرَتْ لِلرَّبِّ نَذْراً فَقالَتْ: «أيُّها الإلَهُ القَدِيرُ، انظُرْ مَدَى حُزنِي وَالتَفِتْ إلَيَّ. لا تَتَجاهَلْنِي أنا خادِمتَكَ. فَإنْ رَزَقْتَنِي بابْنٍ، فَإنِّي سَأُعِيدُهُ لِيَكُونَ فِي خِدمَتِكَ كُلَّ أيّامِ حَياتِهِ. لَنْ يُقَصَّ شَعْرُهُ، وَلَنْ يَشرَبَ نَبيذاً ولا خَمراً، لأنَّهُ سَيَكونُ لَكَ نَذيراً.»
