Then Joshua rent his clothes and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the evening, he and the elders of Israel, putting dust upon their heads.


Iosua şi-a sfâşiat hainele şi s-a aruncat cu faţa la pământ înaintea Chivotului Domnului, unde a stat astfel până seara, împreună cu cei din sfatul bătrânilor lui Israel, având cu toţii capetele presărate cu pământ.
