b ecause they did not meet you with bread and with water in the way when ye came forth out of Egypt and because they hired against thee Balaam, the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

non vi entreranno mai, perché non vi vennero incontro con il pane e con l’acqua durante il vostro viaggio, quando usciste dall’Egitto, e perché assoldarono a tuo danno Balaam, figlio di Beor, da Petor in Mesopotamia, per maledirti.
