b ecause they did not meet you with bread and with water in the way when ye came forth out of Egypt and because they hired against thee Balaam, the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

sepse nuk ju pritën në rrugë me bukë dhe me ujë kur dolët nga Egjipti dhe sepse rekrutuan kundër jush Balaamin, birin e Beorit nga Pethori i Mesopotamisë, për t’ju mallkuar.
