J esus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy soul for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow until thou hast denied me three times.

أجابَ يَسوعُ: «هلْ أنتَ مُستَعِدٌ حَقّاً أنْ تُضَحِّي بِحياتِكَ مِنْ أجلي؟ أقولُ لكَ الحَقَّ: قبلَ أنْ يَصيحَ الدِّيكُ، سَتَكونُ قدْ أنكَرتَني ثَلاثَ مَرّاتٍ!»
