a nd seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing upon her; but when he came to her, he found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet.

Vendo à distância uma figueira com folhas, foi ver se encontraria nela algum fruto. Aproximando-se dela, nada encontrou, a não ser folhas, porque não era tempo de figos.
