N ow the princes of the priests and the elders and all the council sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

وَكانَ كِبارُ الكَهَنَةِ، وَجَمِيعُ أعضاءِ مَجلِسِ اليَهُودِ يَبحَثُونَ عَنْ شَهادَةِ زُورٍ ضِدَّ يَسُوعَ لِكَي يَقتُلُوهُ.
