W oe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses and for a pretence make long prayer; therefore, ye shall receive the greater judgment.

(Vai de voi, cărturari şi farisei ipocriţi! Căci voi devoraţi casele văduvelor şi faceţi rugăciuni lungi de ochii lumii. De aceea veţi primi o condamnare mult mai mare.)
