a nd divide the prey into two parts between those that took the part in the war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

وَوَزِّعُوا غَنائِمَ الحَربِ بِالتَّساوِي: نِصْفاً للجُنُودِ الَّذِينَ شارَكُوا فِي الحَملَةِ العَسكَرِيَّةِ، وَنِصْفاً لِبَقِيَّةِ الشَّعبِ.
