T hen Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I did not know that thou didst stand in the way against me; now therefore, if it displease thee, I will return.

Balaam I-a răspuns Îngerului Domnului: – Am păcătuit căci nu am ştiut că stăteai împotriva mea în mijlocul drumului. Dacă ceea ce fac este un lucru rău în ochii Tăi, mă voi întoarce.
