T hen he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields; and thus shall he reconcile the house, and it shall be clean.

ثُمَّ يُطلِقُ الكاهِنُ العُصفُورَ الحَيَّ خارِجَ المَدِينَةِ فِي سَهلٍ مَفتُوحٍ، وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنِ البَيتِ فَيَصِيرُ طاهِراً.»
