W hy gloriest thou in the valleys? Thy valley has slipped, O backsliding daughter that trusted in her treasures, she that saith, Who shall come against me?

لِماذا تَتَفاخَرِينَ بِقُوَّتِكِ؟ قُوَّتُكِ سَتَنهارُ أيَّتُها البِنتُ الخَائِنَةُ! تَثِقينَ بِثَروَتِكِ وَتَقُولِينَ: ‹مَنْ يَقدِرُ أنْ يُهاجِمَنِي؟›
