s hould we again break thy commandments and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? Would thou not be angry with us until thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escape?

فَهَل نَعُودُ وَنَكسِرُ وَصاياكَ وَنَتَزاوَجَ مَعَ الشُّعُوبِ الَّتِي تَفعَلُ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ الكَرِيهَةَ؟ أفَلا تَسخَطُ عَلَينا كَي تُفنِينا، حَتَّى لا تَبْقَى بَقِيَّةٌ تَنجُو مِنَ الدَّينُونَةِ؟
