A nd Maachah, the wife of Machir, gave birth to a son unto him, and she called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh, whose sons were Ulam and Rakem.

(Maakah, gruaja e Makirit, lindi një djalë, të cilit i vuri emrin Peresh; vëllai i tij përkundrazi quhej Sheresh dhe bijtë e tij Ulam dhe Rekem.
