T he sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him.

I figli di Giuda furono Er, Onan e Scelah, questi tre gli nacquero dalla figlia di Shua, la Cananea. Er, primogenito di Giuda, era malvagio agli occhi dell'Eterno, che perciò lo fece morire.
