A nd the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not enter here. Nevertheless, David took the fortress of Zion, which is the city of David.

فَقالَ أهلُ يَبُوسَ لِداوُدَ: «لا يُمْكِنُكَ أنْ تَدْخُلَ مَدينَتَنا.» لَكِنَّ داوُدَ اسْتَولَى عَلَى حِصْنِ صِهْيَوْنَ، الَّذِي يُدْعَى الآنَ: «مَدِينَةَ داوُدَ.»
