¶ In the year seventeen of Pekah, the son of Remaliah, Ahaz, the son of Jotham, king of Judah, began to reign.

وَاعتَلَى آحازُ بْنُ يُوثامَ عَرْشَ يَهُوذا فِي السَّنَةِ السّابِعَةَ عَشْرَةَ مِنْ حُكْمِ فَقَحَ بْنِ رَمَلْيا لإسْرائِيلَ.
