1 Kings 5:3 ~ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻷﻭ 5:3

T hou knowest how David, my father, could not build a house unto the name of the LORD his God, for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put his enemies under the soles of his feet.

«أنتَ تَذكُرُ أنَّ أبِي، المَلِكَ داوُدَ، انشَغَلَ بِحُرُوبٍ كَثِيرَةٍ عَلَى كُلِّ الحُدُودِ المُحِيطَةِ بِمَملَكَتِهِ. فَلَمْ يَتَمَكَّنْ مِنْ بِناءِ هَيكَلٍ إكراماً لاسْمِ إلَهِهِ. فَكانَ يَنتَظِرُ إلَى أنْ يَضَعَ اللهُ أعداءَهُ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ.
