A nd Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? And that they should also say, Make thy covenant with me, and, behold, my hand shall be with thee, to bring about all Israel unto thee.

И послал Авенир от себя послов к Давиду, сказать: чья эта земля? И еще сказать: заключи союз со мною, и рука моя будет с тобою, чтобы обратить к тебе весь народ Израильский.
