A nd Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying, Make thy covenant with me, and behold, my hand shall be with thee, to turn all Israel to thee.

И послал Авенир от себя послов к Давиду, сказать: чья эта земля? И еще сказать: заключи союз со мною, и рука моя будет с тобою, чтобы обратить к тебе весь народ Израильский.
