2 Samuel 23:17 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 23:17

B e it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this; is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? And he would not drink it. These three mighty men did this.

وَقالَ: «لا سَمَحَ اللهُ! كَيفَ أشرَبُ مِنْ هذا الماءَ؟ فكأنَّني أشرَبُ دَمَ الرِّجالِ الّذين خاطَرُوا بَحَياتِهِمْ مِنْ أجلِي.» فَرَفَضَ داوُدُ أنْ يَشْرَبَ الماءَ. وَقَدْ فَعَلَ الأبطالُ الثَّلاثَةُ كَثِيراً مِنَ البُطُولاتِ. جنودٌ شجعانٌ آخرون
