P orque el mismo Herodes había enviado, y prendido a Juan, y le había aprisionado en la cárcel a causa de Herodías, mujer de Felipe su hermano; porque la había tomado por mujer.

For Herod himself had sent and seized John and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, because he had married her.
