D el estruendo de la gente de a caballo y de los flecheros huyó toda la ciudad; se entraron en las espesuras de los bosques, y se subieron en peñascos; toda ciudad fue desamparada, y no habita en ellas varón alguno.

The whole city fled from the thunder of the horsemen and bowmen; they went into the thickets of the forests and climbed up upon the rocks; every city was forsaken, and not a man dwells therein.
