E ntonces compró José toda la tierra de Egipto para el Faraón; porque los egipcios vendieron cada uno sus tierras, porque se agravó el hambre sobre ellos; y la tierra vino a ser del Faraón.

So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh. For every Egyptian sold his field, because the time without food was hard for them. So the land became Pharaoh’s.
