Y Judá dijo a Tamar su nuera: Estate viuda en casa de tu padre, hasta que crezca Sela mi hijo; porque dijo: Que por ventura no muera él también como sus hermanos. Y se fue Tamar, y estuvo en casa de su padre.

Then Judah said to Tamar, his daughter-in-law, Remain a widow at your father’s house till Shelah my son is grown; for he thought, Lest perhaps he would die also, as his brothers did. So Tamar went and lived in her father’s house.
