و َكانَ فِي يَدِ شاوُلَ رُمحٌ. فَقالَ شاوُلُ فِي نَفسِهِ: «سَأُسَمِّرُ داوُدَ فِي الحائِطِ بهَذا الرُّمحِ.» فَتَنَحَّى داوُدُ عَنِ الرُّمْحِ مَرَّتَينِ.

and he threw the spear, thinking, “I will nail David to the wall.” But David jumped out of his way twice.
