ف َمَتَى اعتَبَرَ اللهُ إبراهِيمَ بارّاً بِناءً عَلَى إيمانِهِ؟ فَهَلْ كانَ ذَلِكَ وَهُوَ مَختُونٌ أمْ قَبلَ خِتانِهِ؟ بَلْ قَبلَ خِتانِهِ.

How then was it credited ? Was it before or after he had been circumcised? It was not after, but before he was circumcised.
