« قِفِي بِجانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ، وَراقِبِي الأرْضَ، يا ساكِنَةَ عَرُوعِيرَ. اسألِي الهارِبَ، وَقُولِي لِلفارِّ: ‹ماذا حَدَثَ؟›

Stand by the road and keep watch, O you who live in Aroer. Ask the man or woman who runs away, ‘What has happened?’
