ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 11:19 ~ Jeremiah 11:19

ك ُنتُ كَخَرُوفٍ داجِنٍ يُقادُ إلَى الذَّبحِ، وَلَمْ أكُنْ أعرِفُ أنَّهُمْ تَآمَرُوا ضِدِّي، قالُوا: «لِنُهلِكِ الشَّجَرَةَ مَعَ ثَمَرِها، وَلنَقطَعْ إرمِيا مِنْ أرْضِ الأحياءِ، حَتَّى لا يَعُودَ اسْمُهُ يُذكَرُ فِيما بَعْدُ.»

But I was like a tame lamb that is brought to the slaughter; I did not know that they had devised inventions and schemes against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
