ت َأمَّلْتُ هَذا كُلَّهُ بِحِكْمَتِي، وَقَلْتُ: «سَأكُونُ حَكِيماً.» لَكِنَّ ذَلِكَ ظَلَّ أُمنِيَةً بَعِيدَةً.

I tested all this with wisdom, and I said, “I will be wise,” but it was far from me.
