و َبَعْدَ مُدَّةٍ مِنَ الزَّمَنِ هاجَمَ داوُدُ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ وَأخضَعَهُمْ، وَأخَذَ جَتَّ وَالقُرَى التّابِعَةَ لَها مِنْ سَيطَرَتِهِمْ.
