ف َقَدْ قَطَعَ يهوه عَهْداً مَعَهُمْ، وَأمَرَهُمْ فَقالَ: «لا تَعْبُدُوا آلِهَةً أُخْرَى، وَلا تَسْجُدُوا لَها وَلا تَخدِمُوها، وَلا تُقَدِّمُوا لَها ذَبائِحَ.
