ف َقَدْ قَطَعَ يهوه عَهْداً مَعَهُمْ، وَأمَرَهُمْ فَقالَ: «لا تَعْبُدُوا آلِهَةً أُخْرَى، وَلا تَسْجُدُوا لَها وَلا تَخدِمُوها، وَلا تُقَدِّمُوا لَها ذَبائِحَ.

With whom the Lord had made a covenant and commanded them, You shall not fear other gods or bow yourselves to them or serve them or sacrifice to them.
