A nd when they arose early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the fish-stump was left to him.

И встали они поутру на следующий день, и вот, Дагон лежит ниц на земле пред ковчегом Господним; голова Дагонова и обе руки его отсеченные, каждая особо, на пороге, осталось только туловище Дагона.
