A nd the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and served the Baals, and the Ashtoreths, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines; and they forsook Jehovah, and served him not.

Pero los Israelitas volvieron a hacer lo malo ante los ojos del Señor. Sirvieron a los Baales, a Astarot, a los dioses de Aram, a los dioses de Sidón, a los dioses de Moab, a los dioses de los Amonitas y a los dioses de los Filisteos. Abandonaron, pues, al Señor y no le sirvieron.
