f or, for this we labour and suffer reproach, because we hope in a living God, who is preserver of all men, specially of those that believe.

With a view to this we toil and strive, suffer reproach, because we have hope on the living God, Who is the Savior (Preserver, Maintainer, Deliverer) of all men, especially of those who believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to Him).
