t hat ye were at that time without Christ, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

ricordatevi che in quel tempo eravate senza Cristo, esclusi dalla cittadinanza d’Israele ed estranei ai patti della promessa, senza speranza e senza Dio nel mondo.
