B ut law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,

وَأمّا الشَّرِيعَةُ فَقَدْ جاءَتْ لِكَي يَزدادَ التَّعَدِّي عَلَى الشَّرِيعَةِ! لَكِنْ حَيثُ تَزدادُ الخَطِيَّةُ، تَزدادُ نِعمَةُ اللهِ أكثَرَ.
