B ut a famine came upon all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great distress, and our fathers found no food.

ثُمَّ أتَتْ مَجاعَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مِصْرَ وَكَنعانَ. فَكانَ هُناكَ ضِيقٌ شَدِيدٌ، وَلَمْ يَجِدْ آباؤُنا طَعاماً.
