John 8:28 ~ John 8:28

J esus therefore said to them, When ye shall have lifted up the Son of man, then ye shall know that I am, and I do nothing of myself, but as the Father has taught me I speak these things.

So Jesus added, When you have lifted up the Son of Man, you will realize (know, understand) that I am He and that I do nothing of Myself (of My own accord or on My own authority), but I say what My Father has taught Me.
